Determine whether someone in the family has symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning:
Common mild symptoms: mild headache, nausea, vomiting and fatigue
Common moderate symptoms: headache, drowsiness, confusion, accelerated heart rhythm
Common extreme symptoms: spasm, loss of consciousness, cardiopulmonary failure, brain injury and death
Carbon monoxide can be fatal! If the alarm sounds:
1) Turn off the gas appliance and gas supply system.
2) Go to the fresh air outdoors or open doors and windows immediately and count the number of people; Do not enter the room again until the first responders arrive, the house is safe and ventilated, and the work alarm returns to normal.
3) If the alarm alarms again within 24 hours, repeat steps 1) - 2), and find a qualified technician to investigate the carbon monoxide source from the combustion equipment and check whether the equipment operates correctly. If problems are found in the inspection, please repair the equipment immediately.
